In my wife’s family, they bought a house (5 bedrooms) in Chadstone (Melbourne) over 10 years ago with a backyard.

After the 3 kids left the house, they divided the backyard and built a 3-bedroom house to sell the first one and live in the second one: they’re now mortgage free and bought a holiday house cash!
