The problem is that Banks will not extend IO loan period unless you have less than 80% LVR. So leaves us with two choices: use cash (if available) from offset account and reduce LVR down to 80% and extension on IO loan or do nothing (keep cash) and waiting to be switched to P+I loan. So loose loose situation really…
